On January 27, 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp, was liberated by the Soviet army. Music of Remembrance (MOR) presents a FREE concert to honor this important moment in history, and joins forces with organizations around the world to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The musical program features songs from the Vilna Ghetto and works by composers whose lives were cut short by Nazi persecution: Hans Krása, Gideon Klein, Viktor Ullmann, Robert Dauber, and Erwin Schulhoff.
This is a free concert, but note that tickets are required.
