The story of Magda, an elegant, cosmopolitan courtesan, and her love for Ruggero, a simple country man. Sometimes love just isn't enough. A bittersweet melodious score. Performed with piano, violin and flute in Italian with supertitles in English and Italian. Featuring Karen Early Evans, Christine Menschner, Michael Heitmann, Steven Wall, and Derek Sellers. The ensemble will be accompanied by musical director John Burkhardt on piano with commentary by Artistic Director Regina Thomas.
