Seattle based classical musician, pianist, and violist Annie Center will give a chamber music concert with her friends to benefit the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Seattle's 11th ARTvocacy Refugee Art Exhibit.
ARTvocacy is a celebration of World Refugee Day through art. The 2016 event will feature original pieces created by talented first- and second-generation refugees in our community. Benefit Concert ticket purchases and/or donations will directly benefit this one-of-a-kind IRC event.
At work in 25 US cities, and over 40 countries, the IRC helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. The IRC in Seattle provides critical services and support to refugees, and survivors of human trafficking, who are rebuilding their lives in our community.
