Soprano Stacey Mastrian and pianist Mary Trotter will bring to life beloved art songs (songs for voice and piano from the Romantic period through Impressionism and the early 20th century) by Fauré, Debussy, Rossini, Strauss, and Wolf, as well as rarities by Italian composers such as Casella, Ghedini, Pizzetti, and Respighi. The songs are sarcastic, serene, serious, silly, and sublime.

Sung in English, French, German, and Italian (with explanations provided!), these songs tell stories about love, cats, dogs, elves, the dangers of serenading in winter, and everything in between.

The environment will be casual. Feel free to bring a drink, a date, family (including children), and/or friends, but please use the Groupmuse or "Get Tickets" links above to reserve spots in advance!
