Picnic & Percussion: Make Music Day Seattle
Free
Make Music is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 700 cities in 120 countries.
To celebrate Make Music Day, join the Live Music Project for a picnic at Jack Block Park in West Seattle, followed by the Seattle premiere of composer Dean Rosenthal's Stones/Water/Time/Breath – which we will all perform together at the water's edge.
Bring your family and friends – the whole community is invited! Free and open to the public.
Schedule:
6:30-7:30 PM: Picnic
7:30-8:00 PM: Performance(s)
