Jeffrey Fair has been the Principal Horn (The Charles Simonyi Chair) of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra since February 2013 and a member of the Orchestra since 2003. His playing has been described as "compelling," "evocative," "fearless and flawless," and "full of finesse and assertiveness." He is on the faculty of the University of Washington, and is responsible for instruction of all horn students. Additionally, Mr. Fair appears throughout the Northwest as soloist, chamber musician, clinician, and teacher.
