IPA proudly presents the pianist Yi-Chih Lu — an artist hailed by Allgaeuerzeitung as "... a young man with every fiber to be a pianist ..." — in recital at Benaroya Hall.

To win in more than a few important competitions during a lifetime of an artist would already be quite an accomplishment, but to have won in more than a dozen prominent piano competitions (including Artur Schnabel, Sendai, Piano Bratislava and Beethoven, among others) is an extraordinary feat. Having achieved this, Mr. Lu is truly one of the greatest rising talents from Taiwan.

Mr. Lu is an advocate for Taiwanese folk music and a prolific chamber musician as well. His recording of works by Chopin and Brahms has been awarded the Golden Globe in Taiwan. With great anticipation, International Performing Arts (IPA) looks forward to a musical feast of artistry from this promising young pianist.

This event is presented by International Performing Arts (IPA).
