The Sinfonietta welcomes autumn with a variety of musical gems highlighting the many talented musicians of the orchestra. Co-concertmasters Brittany Boulding and Denise Dillenbeck take center stage as soloists for Bach's beautiful double concerto and Ysaye's romantic tone poem, Amitie. Stravinsky's neo-classical masterpiece for a small ensemble, Dumbarton Oaks, and Schumann's rousing Rhenish symphony round out the opening concert of the 26th season of music.
