Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum, Seattle, WA, United States

Folio salutes Seattle's new literary journal, Moss, which publishes essays, fiction, and interviews exclusively from writers with a deep connection to the Pacific Northwest. Eric Wagner, a writer and scientist in Seattle, will read his autobiographical essay about the profound connection between his experiences growing up on the Oregon Coast and the passion, depth, and power of the Appassionata, one of Beethoven’s most sublime works.

Distinguished local pianist Mark Salman will perform the Beethoven sonata.

Tickets: $10 at the door; $5 for Folio members and students.
