Ring in the New Year with Seattle’s longest-running classical New Year’s Eve concert, featuring the Cathedral Choir singing music from significant Parisian churches including Notre Dame and St. Sulpice. The program for two organs and choir includes works by Dupré, Widor, Vierne, and others. Cathedral Organist Joseph Adam and organist Wyatt Smith of St. Alphonsus will accompany on the Cathedral’s Rosales and Hutchings-Votey organs. Dr. Paul Thornock conducts. This year’s concert marks the return of the “midnight surprise”!
Passes to reserved seating are only available by advance donation: order online for delivery by mail or pickup at will-call, or call 206-382-4874. General admission passes are available at the door. Concerts with reserved seating at St. James Cathedral are "Festival Seating," which guarantees you a seat, but not a specific seat, in the reserved section. Reserved seats are opened to general seating a few minutes before each concert.
