Internationally-renowned soloist Jeffrey Kahane and Artistic Partner Joseph Swensen join together to lead the orchestra in a program of works perfectly designed for the intimate setting of the chamber orchestra. Equally at home at the piano or on the podium, Kahane is currently celebrating twenty years as Music Director of the famed Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO). He performs Schumann's powerful Piano Concerto on a program also featuring Mozart's beloved final symphony, and a rare work by Samuel Barber with soloists from within the Sinfonietta.
