Our season finale is a celebration of beautiful music that takes you to the most amazing landscapes and beyond. Dvořák’s In Nature’s Realm, part of the trilogy of Nature, Life and Love, was considered by the composer to be among his best orchestral works. Mahler’s famous song cycle, Songs of the Wayfarer, describes a young man wounded by unrequited love but finding comfort in nature. Mendelssohn’s third symphony commemorates the magical countryside of Scotland.
