patchtax is a duo comprised of Mary Joy Patchett, saxophone, and Eve Boltax, viola. They are based in Boston and currently in their fifth season. This is the duo’s first appearance on the West Coast. In addition to Seattle, they will be touring to San Francisco and Vancouver.

patchtax explores unconventional performance practices within the realm of classical chamber music.

Ample street parking is available. Metro #5 or #44. Our house is high off the street and it's thirty steps to the front door. Attendees will be asked to make a donation (minimum $10) all of which goes to the musicians. Please bring any drinks and snacks you'd like to share. RSVP is required.
