Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Genzmer! Taking you on a whirlwind tour of the Austrian classical tradition, the Seattle Philharmonic Strings welcomes you to the second concert of its inaugural season. Music directors Allion Salvador and Adam Stern conduct some of Mozart's darkest and most anguished writing, Michael Haydn's Divertimento (a dazzling display of compositional prowess), a Rosenmüller Baroque dance suite, and the enrapturing Mahler transcription of the Serioso, Beethoven's Op. 95 String Quartet.
