English baroque composer Henry Purcell put his stamp on the musical world with an enduring work inspired by Shakespeare’s tale of love, magic, and fairies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Enriching the Seattle Celebrates Shakespeare Festival, Soprano Suzie LeBlanc joins the Orchestra for The Fairy Queen and other English Baroque favorites including Matthew Locke’s The Tempest.
