18th-century Dresden was home to some of the finest musicians and composers of the Baroque era, including Johann Georg Pisendel, concertmaster of the exquisite Dresden Court Orchestra. Seattle Baroque Orchestra performs pieces from his bookshelf, highlighting the violin, flute, oboe, and bassoon with soloists Linda Melsted, Janet See, Curtis Foster, and Nate Helgeson.
