The passionate folk music of the Hungarian gypsies has influenced generations of composers throughout music history. Hear two of Brahms’ most popular gypsy-inspired works alongside the music of famed Hungarian composers including Béla Bartók’s blazing Contrasts for clarinet, violin, and piano based on folk melodies from Hungary and Romania.

There will be an interactive question & answer session with the artists immediately following this performance.
