Opening night of Spontaneous Combustion New Music Festival features Delgani String Quartet from Eugene, OR. They will be performing the first string quartets of Alan Hovhaness, György Ligeti, and Benjamin Krause. The work by Krause is a newly-commissioned piece made by Delgani and is featured on their newest CD release. This will be the first Seattle performance by the Delgani String Quartet.
