Join the Northwest Edvard Grieg Society for "Trumpet Meditations: Music and Musicians from the Norwegian Arctic," with guest artists Ingrid Eliassen on the trumpet and Ekaterina Isayevskaya on the piano, both of Tromsø, Norway, land of the Northern Lights.

This unique musical offering features a varied program that combines familiar and less well-known works by Norwegian composers, including Alexander Aarøen Pedersen’s Trompetmeditasjon, which was commissioned for the tour.

As Grieg brought Norwegian music to the rest of the world, we are pleased to follow his lead in bringing rarely heard music from Norwegian composers to our audiences in Seattle.

The concert is open and free to the general public, with a suggested donation of $10.

Your advance RSVP is requested, with tickets also available at the door. Doors open at 7:00pm.
