Rachmaninoff – Five Preludes, Op. 23
Rachmaninoff – Sonata No. 2, Op. 36

This is a rare US appearance by Eleonora Karpukhova. She plays widely in Russia, around Europe, and beyond. She is on the faculty of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music, where she received her masters degree with honors, and has numerous competition prizes on her resume. This is a very special event by the Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle. A senior faculty member of the Conservatory was quoted as saying, "Eleonora is the finest pianist of her generation in the Conservatory."
