Cello faculty artist-in-residence Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir is joined by French-Romanian pianist Alexandra Joan in a recital centered around fin-de-siecle Vienna from a young cellist's view. On the program is Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata, six songs by Brahms, and Richard Strauss' Sonata for cello and piano, along with Webern's Two Pieces (1899) and Three little Pieces, Op. 11.
