The music of Claude Debussy continues to enthrall and fascinate audiences thanks to its obvious beauties and mysterious charms. Three different sides of his musical personality are on view in this concert – brass fanfares, a beguiling solo vehicle for harp, and the kaleidoscopic Nocturnes in which Debussy sought to convey "all the various impressions and the special effects of light that the word [nocturne] suggests." This performance will feature special guests harpist Bethany Man and the Sammamish Symphony's 2018 Youth Concerto Competition winner, soprano Anjulie Djearam.
