The contrasting colors of the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and french horn are brilliantly showcased through the impressionistic Le Tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel, the spirited Six Bagatelles of György Ligeti, and a dazzling quintet by David Maslanka. Exploring the relationship between auditory and visual colors, the music will accentuate the Issaquah-based artist Kimberly Adams’ vibrant landscapes.
