Now that sweater weather is finally coming to a close, the University of Washington School of Music invites you to usher in spring with a concert of music from The Here and Now – a concert of 21st century music produced and performed by the UW graduate students. The program will feature a wide variety of exciting and evocative solo and chamber music, including two world premieres by UW students, Brian Schappals and Ryan Farris. They will also be celebrating composer Dr. Gerald Kechley’s 100th birthday on the evening of their concert through a performance of his piece Little Flower.

There will be a pre-concert lecture presented by Mason Lynass at 7:00pm.
