Internationally acclaimed violinist Elizabeth Blumenstock, concertmaster of the world-famous Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra (San Francisco) and the International Handel Festival (Göttingen, Germany), performs on her 1660 Andrea Guarneri violin with her duo partner Tamara Friedman playing on her fine replica of an 1804 Nannette Streicher Viennese grand fortepiano.
Enjoy selections from L.-G. Guillemain’s Amusement and J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, both virtuoso works for unaccompanied violin, as well as a rondo by C.P.E. Bach and duo sonatas by J.C. Bach and the incomparable W.A. Mozart, performed the way chamber music should be heard – in an intimate, acoustically superb setting.
