Gidon Kremer’s violin transcriptions of Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s Twenty-four Preludes for cello solo, with projections of powerful, black and white images by Lithuanian photographer Antanas Sutkus, whose highly expressive art responds to a particular vision of life in the mid-20th century Soviet Union.
