The Houston-based professional ensemble ROCO is excited to offer free weekly livestream rebroadcasts of our past In Concert performances, featuring the full 40-piece chamber orchestra. Each broadcast will take place at 12pm (Pacific), and can be found on both our website, YouTube, and Facebook page, where our guest artists join us each week for chat and Q&A.

Led by ROCO Artistic Partner conductor Mei-Ann Chen, Season 12's opener featured the Texas premiere of Jennifer Higdon's Dance Card, a ROCO co-commission showcasing our strings in five movements inspired by various dance steps and rhythms. Other works included Fanny Mendelssohn’s Overture in C Major, Mikhail Glinka’s Kamarinskaya, Dmitri Shostakovich’s Ballet Suite No. 2 for Orchestra, Erno Dohnanyi's Wedding Waltz, and selections from Zoltan Kodály’s Háry János Suite with Chester Englander as soloist on cimbalom. Recorded Sept. 24, 2016, at The Church of St. John the Divine, Houston, TX.

The broadcast will take place at 2pm Central / 12pm Pacific.
