Leonard Bernstein – "I. Galop" from Fancy Free

In this fresh and inventive program, Brooklyn Rider, “four classical musicians performing with the energy of young rock stars jamming on their guitars” (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette), explores the profound healing power of music through dynamic works by composers with a wide array of backgrounds and perspectives. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, Festival musicians also perform Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman No. 5 by composer Joan Tower.

All virtual performances are pre-recorded and will be available on demand for a period of time after the festival concludes. We are pleased to present these performances for free as a sign of gratitude to donors, subscribers, ticket buyers, and the community.

The livestream will take place at 7:30pm Mountain / 6:30pm Pacific.
