Now in its 13th year, the Open Space Festival of New Music is a forum for composers and performers to present new works in collaboration with students and faculty of at the University of Northern Colorado. This year the Festival is presented online with composer Scott Wollschleger, whose music is spacious, colorful, and meditative. The trio Bearthoven (March 11) and UNC’s own UNCommon Ensemble (March 12) are the highlighted performers.
A preconcert talk with Wollschleger and UNCommon Ensemble director Vijay Chalsani is at 7pm Mountain / 6pm Pacific. The concert begins at 7:30pm Mountain / 6:30pm Pacific. This event is free.
