Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture opens the program, followed by Spanish violinist Francisco Fullana performing Saint-Saëns’s masterpiece, Violin Concerto No. 3. The concert also features Schubert’s posthumously premiered Symphony No. 4 “Tragic,” a surprising and sublime work written when he was just 19 years old.

The concert will be available to watch on Saturday, September 25 at 7pm Pacific and Sunday, September 26 at 3pm Pacific.

Attending in person: Tickets to this performance at the Newmark Theatre in Portland, Oregon, are available on Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s website, vancouversymphony.org.
