Emerald City Music kicks off Season 06 with a program titled What You Are To Me, featuring Erich Korngold’s Suite for Two Violins, Cello, and Piano Left Hand that was written for Paul Wittgenstein – a virtuoso pianist who lost his right arm during World War I. This work embodies the perseverance of the arts, similar to what we’ve dealt with this past year and coming back with LIVE concerts. The program also features the Seattle premiere of Patrick Castillo’s Winter Light, co-commissioned by Emerald City Music.

The concert will take place at 8pm and 10pm.

In an ever-changing situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are making every effort to keep you safe while we return to live performances. During the fall of Season 06 we are limiting capacity to 50% and will be requiring masks to be worn throughout the duration of the performance. Contact information, including names and email addresses, for all audience members will be archived for contact tracing purposes.

These past 18 months have shown us that things can change very quickly without warning. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you regularly as more information is released by Governor Inslee and the Washington state government.
