We are thrilled to announce that C4 is back! We'll be performing our first in-person concert, Joy, since March 4, 2021, in the beautiful garden at St. John's in the Village. Join us for our musical reunion, and hear the best of new choral music in New York City!

Our program will include the following pieces:

Julius Eastman, arr. Perry Townsend – Joy Boy (world premiere of choral arrangement)
Bernard Rands – Selections from Canti D'Amor
Leah Ofman – moi, je ne veux pas danser sue des chansons tristes (world premiere)
Robin McClellan – The Woman Turns Herself Into a Fish
Bora Park – Three Haiku
Bettina Sheppard – Love is Anterior to Life
Michael Dellaira – The Campers at Kitty Hawk
Martha Sullivan – Voicebox Girl Vocalise

We'll be joined by saxophonist David Wozniak for this concert.

The performance will take place at 2:30pm Eastern / 11:30am Pacific.

Attending in person: C4 will give two performances of this concert: at 2:30pm Eastern, and again at 4pm Eastern.

Attendance is limited to 50 people per concert.  Weather permitting, this concert will be held outdoors, in the courtyard of Saint John's In the Village. If it rains, the concert will be held inside the church, in which case all attendees will need to present proof of vaccination (vaccination card, NYC Excelsior Pass, Docket app, etc.), as well as a photo ID. The audience is required to be masked, whether concert is indoors or outdoors.
