The UBC Bands return to the Chan Centre Concert Hall stage to kick off the School of Music’s 2021-22 season of live concerts featuring our student ensembles! Join the Symphonic Wind Ensemble (Robert Taylor, conductor) and Concert Winds (Imran Amarshi, conductor) for our season opener, featuring music by Frank Ticheli, Kathryn Salfelder, Howard Hanson, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Arturo Márquez.
The concert will take place at 7:30pm Pacific.

As we begin to welcome audiences back to our venues, we are following the guidance provided by UBC and the Province of British Columbia’s BC Restart Plan. Please note that as of September 13, BC will be instituting a proof of vaccination requirement.
