Elliot Cole – Flowerpot Music

Perform a composition by composer Elliot Cole using an unlikely but beautiful percussion instrument – the flowerpot! All are welcome to participate in this lively gathering inspired by the annual Make Music Day, a worldwide festival held each June to encourage musicians of every kind, regardless of age, experience, or musical interest, to share music making with friends, neighbors, and strangers.

Join us for a celebration of music hosted by James Doyle; percussionist, educator, collaborative artist, and School of Music affiliate faculty member. This event is part of the School of Music Noon Convocations.

The event will take place at 12pm.

Attendance Guidelines:
This is an in-person event open to the public. Pre-registration and proof of full vaccination are required and must be presented upon entry. Due to the vaccination requirement, children under 12 are not permitted.

All attendees are required to wear masks that completely cover the mouth and nose while indoors. Seating is general admission, with social distancing between parties required. Attendance will be monitored to comply with adjusted venue capacity.
