To open the season, we will be returning to First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta with a tribute to living American composers. The program features the world premiere of the expanded winning commission of Notes From Inside by our Rapido! National Finals Winner from January 2021, Benjamin Krause – inspired by the shared experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. In following that theme, we will perform Peace by the acclaimed composer, violinist, educator and activist, Jessie Montgomery. Kenji Bunch’s Dies Irie and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon and her Southern Harmony round out our tribute to living American composers. Following intermission, we will treat you with the passion and emotion of Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 3.

The concert will begin at 4pm Eastern / 1pm Pacific.
