Join the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (USA), either virtually or in person, for a musical tour of Europe with a selection of symphonic gems to delight all audiences. Maestro Salvador Brotons leads the orchestra in well-known works by Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, Claude Debussy, and Zoltán Kodály. One of French composer Maurice Ravel’s most well-loved works, Pavane for a Dead Princess, opens the program followed by Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite, an eight-movement version of the original ballet. Claude Debussy’s Petite Suite, based on two poems by French poet Paul Verlaine, and Zoltán Kodály’s Dances of Galánta, an exciting piece including Hungarian folk melodies, finish the program.

Discounted student tickets are also available. Every ticket can be used for in-person attendance or to watch live online through the Virtual Concert Hall on the VSO website.

The concert will begin at 7pm Pacific.

Attending in person: Masks are required for all audience members, regardless of vaccination status. The VSO also requests proof of vaccination status or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event.
