The Esoterics: The Rewaking

The Esoterics is excited to return to St John’s in Olympia for its first public performance in nearly two years. This program, entitled The Rewaking, revisits some of the group’s favorite pieces from its most-recently completed season in 2019. That season, with the theme “elements of integrity,” explored the concepts of vulnerability, inclusivity, honesty, and humility, and featured newly-written choral music by living composers who comprised “the new majority” – namely: women, transgender people, people of color, and members of the greater LGBTQIA+ community.
The concert will begin at 3pm Pacific.
The Esoterics hopes that you can either join us LIVE at St John’s in the audience (proof of vaccination and and masking required), or tune in to our livestream, for this contemporary choral contemplation of love, peace, renewal, togetherness, and gratitude.
