The String Sinfonia welcomes back live audiences with a concert that blends delightful, underperformed gems with well-known staples of the string orchestra repertoire.

Under new director Dr. James Ray, the orchestra presents Hindemith’s Five Pieces for String Orchestra and Grieg’s Two Elegiac Melodies.

Bookending the concert are works by Classical period contemporaries: Joseph Boulogne, Chevalier de Saint-George (String Quartet No. 3 in G minor), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Eine kleine Nachtmusik).

The concert will begin at 8pm Pacific.
