Cheryse McLeod Lewis, mezzo-soprano
Cheryse McLeod Lewis, mezzo-soprano, enjoys a diverse career in opera, musical theatre, concert, commercial, print, and voiceover work. She is also Owner & Executive Producer of Premier Vocal Entertainment, LLC, a company that provides top-tier, professional vocal entertainment for year-round events in the greater Seattle area as well as the broader Pacific Northwest.
Ms. Lewis’ leading roles include Cinderella’s Stepmother in Into the Woods (Village Theatre); the title role in Carmen (Capital Opera Raleigh; Asheville Lyric Opera); Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Asheville Lyric Opera, Mansfield Symphony, Central Georgia Opera Guild); Hansel in Hansel and Gretel (Connecticut Opera; Greensboro Opera); The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors (Opera Carolina; Connecticut Opera); and Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus (Vashon Opera; Greensboro Opera).
Ms. Lewis appears in concert and recital to rave reviews and has performed as a vocal soloist with Orchestra Seattle, Boise Philharmonic, Greensboro Symphony, Olympia Symphony Orchestra, Eugene Concert Choir, and Kirkland Choral Society to name a few.
Additionally, Ms. Lewis’ recent commercial, print, and voiceover credits include national ads for Amazon, Microsoft, Costco, and Zillow. Regionally, she has appeared in ads, training videos, and voiceovers for Starbucks, Cedar Grove Compost, Committee for Children, Group Health, Bio Bags, Sleep Country Canada, SAP Concur, and PopCap Games.
