Award-winning British guitarist Michael Partington, praised by Classical Guitar Magazine for his “lyricism, intensity and clear technical command,” will captivate you with his intimate interpretations of 19th-century master works for the guitar from Austria and Spain. His innate rhythmic understanding and delicate sense for tonal color combine to create memorable performances. Michael will be performing on a French guitar by an anonymous maker (Mirecourt, ca. 1840). This concert is presented as part of National Guitar Day weekend.
