Yvette Keong, hailed as a “soaring soprano” of “clarity and promise” (Opera News) and pianist Nicole Cloutier, will present a bold recital of living women composers for the opening night of EXTENSITY’s WOMEN NOW festival. The program will include Thea Musgraves’ Songs for a Winter’s Evening, excerpts from Jennifer Higdon’s Cold Mountain, and Tonia Ko’s Smoke and Distance.

WOMEN NOW Festival, presented by EXTENSITY Concert Series, is a month-long celebration of living women composers, taking place March 5-26.

EXTENSITY is a new concert series in NY, which aims to foster dialogues between musical traditions, artistic practices and time periods with emphasis on new and underrepresented voices.
