One of America’s most celebrated string quartets, The Miró Quartet has performed throughout the world on the most prestigious concert stages. Eminent clarinetist David Shifrin joins in a program of works for clarinet and quartet, including Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Quintet and arrangements of big band swing. "In the Miró’s performance, all of the notes are delivered with remarkable precision and intra-ensemble timing that resemble the workings of a finely calibrated timepiece..." (Fanfare)
Reserving tickets: Most of Music Mondays' 300 seats are for those who just show up — but as a courtesy to our friends who work late, we set aside some advance reservations for general admission. All other seats are first come, first served and are available as early as 6:45pm, when the doors open. Please note that reservations are good for entrance only, not for specific seats. Reservations are void after 7:20pm.
If reservations are gone, don't worry — just show up! It is rare for Music Mondays to turn anyone away.
COVID-19 Protocols: By reserving tickets to attend a Music Mondays concert at Advent Lutheran Church, guests attest that:

About David Shifrin, clarinet
An artist member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 1989, Mr. Shifrin served as its Artistic Director from 1992 to 2004. He has toured extensively throughout the United States with CMSLC and hosted and performed in several national television broadcasts on PBS's Live from Lincoln Center. He also served as Artistic Director of Portland's Chamber Music Northwest from 1981 through 2020 and is currently Artistic Director of the Phoenix Chamber Music Festival.
