The Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet is "something extraordinary" (The New York TImes): for nearly 20 years, they have enraptured audiences on every major stage worldwide. NYCP is thrilled to welcome the Parker Quartet for a world premiere performance of composer Jeremy Gill's Motherwhere: Bagatelles for Strings, after Bán, a new concerto for string quartet and string orchestra. Tchaikovsky's Andante Cantabile and Serenade for Strings complete the program.
This performance is less than 90 minutes and presented without intermission.
