Award-winning pianist Oda Voltersvik from Bergen, Norway, performs neo-classical masterpieces and lesser-known Norwegian composers in this unique FREE community concert.
Oda Voltersvik has performed at prestigious international venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the Norwegian Opera House. She holds a Master in Performance from the Royal College of Music and and Artist Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. She is project leader the Volt Ensemble, a member of Volt&Potenza duo and has newly started the series "Volt Classics" in Bergen. Her recordings has received great reviews internationally and she is a 1st prize winner of the Bradshaw&Buono International Competition. Oda is a recipient of the Norwegian Arts Council`s work grant (2021-2022). Year 2022 includes a performance with the Northport Symphony Orchestra.
The recording NEO will be released by Rubicon Classics May 2022 including neo-classical works by Russian composers. The recital will be a celebration of the release with works by Handel, Grieg, Shostakovich, Inger Bang Lund, Gubaidulina, and Tord Kalvenes (1989-).
Her US. concert tour (March 20 - April 2) has received support from the Fund for Performing Artists Norway (FFUK) among others.
