Join the Frost Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Gerard Schwarz for a concert of Carlos Chávez’s most popular piece, Sinfonía India, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4. Chávez, one of the most important composers of the 20thcentury, wrote Sinfonía India while living in New York City in 1935 and later worked closely with Frost Distinguished Professor Maestro Schwarz in the 1970s. The program ends with one of the most important pieces of the symphonic cannon, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor.

Attending in person: In-person tickets are available for reservation in advance online or through the Frost School of Music box office. Pre-registration and payment are required to attend in person.
