After debuting at the New York Philharmonic at age 11, pianist Joel Fan has appeared at major venues throughout the world. The New York Times has described him as an "impressive pianist” with a "probing intellect and vivid imagination.” On this program, Mr. Fan contrasts two iconic sonatas: Beethoven’s Sonata No. 32 in C minor and Liszt’s Sonata in B minor.
