The Korean Music Association (KMA) is excited to hold our 42nd annual music concert on June 12th at 5pm at the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall at the Benaroya Hall.

This is an annual event that has been upheld for over 40 years. The last few years through the pandemic have been a very difficult time for many of us, especially while we have not been able to gather and share our passion and love. This year, the KMA is happy to come together and hold our concert.

The KMA hopes the concert will provide healing and hope for our community that has experienced so much divisiveness and loss. We would like to dedicate the concert to first responders and those who work in hospitals and health clinics who work tirelessly to care for others, to show our appreciation for them. The KMA would be honored to have all invited to attend the concert and enjoy the message of hope and join in our festive celebration of our community.

This year, we are featuring a renowned Metropolitan Opera lead singer (Joo Won Kang), local music professors and performers (Yujin Kim, Soon Cho, Maria Sampen, Tanya Stambuk, and Kyungsin Kim) as well as the 21st KMA Youth Scholarship Music Competition Grand prize winner (Lisa An, with chamber orchestra) playing for us.

We appreciate all of our board members and all who support the KMA on our mission of creating various opportunities for cultural connections in our community through music.

RSVP and find information about the KMA at kmawa.org.
