Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), New York, NY, United States

Luca Seccafieno and Fabrizio Viti pay tribute to composers Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, timed near the centenary of Federico Fellini and the ninetieth anniversary of the birth of Sergio Leone. Few know that these composers, recognized for their contributions to film, have also written much more refined classical music. This evening features pieces where the piano and trumpet are the undisputed protagonists. In this new program, Trombone Concerto by Nino Rota is arranged for flugelhorn.
