About Jonah Levy, trumpet
Jonah Levy is a Los Angeles based trumpet player, teacher, recording artist, composer and soloist. Levy is equally at home in the worlds of studio recording, contemporary music, jazz, and experimental art, and was lauded by the New Yorker’s Alex Ross as an “assassin of the ordinary” for his appearance on a rooftop in the Industry’s “Hopscotch.” Most recently he has served as associate principal trumpet of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, third trumpet of Tucson Symphony Orchestra, and guest principal trumpet of the Orquesta Filarmonica de Jalisco. Jonah currently plays trumpet with wildUp and freelances as a substitute musician with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera, Mainly Mozart, St. Louis Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Hawaii Symphony, LA Master Chorale, Santa Barbara Symphony, Long Beach Symphony San Bernardino Symphony, Redlands Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Monterey Symphony, and Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra.

mattie barbier is an LA based musician and sonic researcher focused on experimental intonation, noise, and the physical processes of their instrument. Their playing has been described by the LA Times as being "of intense, brilliant, virtuosic growling that gave the striking impression that Barbier was dismantling the instrument while playing it," by the Wire as “exploring the nooks of instrumental tone far beyond the reach of most mortals,” and by the New Yorker as being a "diabolically inventive trombonist-composer." they're a member of RAGE Thrombones, WasteLAnd, Wild Up, and an active soloist on low brass instruments.
