Join the PSU University Band and Wind Symphony for a celebration of retiring director Pat Vandehey, including the world premiere of two new works commissioned for this concert, Inflection Point by Sean O'Loughlin and Raise Your Glass by Jim Stephenson. Both ensembles will also perform important works by composers including Grainger, Sousa, Van der Roost, Gillingham, Danyew, and Sheldon. The Wind Symphony will close the evening with Jim Stephenson's Symphony No. 2, a towering work for wind band and a fitting final performance of Dr. Vandehey's career.
